Due to Morocco's decision to extend the suspension of air travel until January 31, 2022, the country's flagship air carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced on December 24 that tickets issued between January 1 and 31 will be offered at a substantial discount.
Royal Air Maroc said in a tweet, "The Company undertakes to accompany its customers during this period by authorizing the change and refund of international tickets booked."
For passengers, RAM offers three options, including "a refund for the amount of the ticket in the form of a credit to be used on a Royal Air Maroc flight, valid for 12 months and refundable in cash at the expiration of its validity."
The airline also encouraged passengers to change tickets for a new travel date for the next 15 days after flights resumed, either from or to these destinations: Africa, North America, Europe, Middle East.
RAM reminds travelers that they can reschedule travel dates, free of charge and without additional penalties, until the end of October 2022.
According to the airline, it will continue its schedule to operate exceptional flights between December 24 and 31.
This exceptional offer for Royal Air Maroc comes amid the recent suspension of air travel from and to Morocco until January 31, 2022.
