Morocco records 3,141 Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths

Morocco recorded 3,141 Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, raising the total of cases since the beginning of the outbreak to 1,192,797.

The kingdom has also reported 5 Covid-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours.

As of Wednesday, the ministry of health reported a total of 16,092 people who died from Covid-19.

Morocco continues to bid on its national vaccination campaign, in an effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

According to the ministry's latest tally, 24,850,905 people received their first Covid-19 vaccine shot, while 23,334,910 were fully inoculated.

Morocco has also administered a total of 6,523,920 booster shots, as of Wednesday.
